Ridgefield One is a staffing agency serving NY, CT, and VT.  Our client is a major insurance company with offices in Stamford and Greenwich, CT. 




We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrative Assistant with strong Excel skills.

 

Administrative Assistant, under the direction of Departmental Management, will perform a variety of administrative duties.  Administrative functions will include but not be limited to the production of final Internal Audit reports and Quality Reviews, monthly and quarterly reporting to Senior Management and the tracking of key Departmental metrics.  This incumbent must have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills.  Must have the ability to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

 

 




  • Coordinates with the Audit Team Managers to ensure the timely production of key monthly and quarterly reports.  Strong MS Excel skills are necessary to understand and extrapolate data used in the production of the reports.




  • Monitors the Department’s internal performance metrics.




  • Completes the Department’s Customer Satisfaction Survey program.




  • Communicates with internal and external audiences.  Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the office and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support of senior management.




  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing the Departmental SharePoint calendar which include key Group Audit Committee meetings, International Legal Entity Audit Committee meetings, Functional meetings such as the CFO calls, and the scheduled internal audits.




  • Set up Groups, add Users and manage Folder Access in SharePoint




  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressure.




  • Assists in the production of final Internal Audit reports.




  • Answer incoming telephone calls in an exceptional, positive, clear manner.




  • Professionally greets and directs visitors.





 


Required Qualifications :



  • Proficient computer skills, including expert level Excel skills (spreadsheets, etc.)




  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.




  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external partners.




  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills.




  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.




  • Highly resourceful team player with demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.




  • Knowledge of business and management principles.
