Ridgefield One is a staffing agency, contracted to find and qualify a Lead Android Developer for a hi-tech sporting goods manufacturer.

Job Description:

We are looking for an expert, hands on Android team lead who has shipped complex multi-threaded, client-server applications. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years experience Android application development and at least 5 years total software development experience. In addition the candidate must have experience leading teams, defining application architectures and mentoring junior developers.

  • Having worked in an Agile development environment.

  • Management skills necessary to lead a small team of developers.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A “can do” attitude with a passion for technical challenges. 


Nice To Have

  • iOS application development experience.

  • Modern web application development experience.

  • MySQL experience (or other SQL databases)

  • Git (or other distributed version control systems)

  • Automated testing experience

  • Linux command line skills and scripting

  • Jira issue & project tracking

  • Agile/Scrum development practices

  • Golf
