Ridgefield One is a staffing agency, contracted to find and qualify a Lead Android Developer for a hi-tech sporting goods manufacturer.

The golf product seamlessly records the users round then calculates and displays insightful statistics that help zero in on areas for improvement. We are looking for an expert, hands on Android team lead who has shipped complex multi-threaded, client-server applications. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years experience Android application development and at least 5 years total software development experience. In addition the candidate must have experience leading teams, defining application architectures and mentoring junior developers.
Required Qualifications :
Expert knowledge of Android application development.
Expert knowledge of mobile architectures.
Having worked in an Agile development environment.
Management skills necessary to lead a small team of developers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A “can do” attitude with a passion for technical challenges.
Nice To Have
iOS application development experience.
Modern web application development experience.
MySQL experience (or other SQL databases)
Git (or other distributed version control systems)
Automated testing experience
Linux command line skills and scripting
Jira issue & project tracking
Agile/Scrum development practices
