Job Description :

Ridgefield One is a staffing agency serving NY, CT, and VT.  The company provides permanent and temporary IT staffing solutions to companies in all industries throughout Fairfield County, CT and the Tri-State New York area.



We are currently recruiting for a .Net Application Developer to work on a three month contract for a long-standing client of ours in Darien, CT.   The project entails working on the company's flagship product, helping to develop and test new features, and maintain the system.  In addition, tasks will also include work on a variety of websites and web services in .Net.



Most code is in C# although some may be in VB.Net.  A list of all expected skills is below:




 


 



Required Qualifications :

Required Skills
.Net/C# Developer with the following background and skills
C#, ASP.NET Developer with solid skills in MVC frameworks
Must have strong system design and development skills in Microsoft .Net web
applications
Strong experience with MVC, ASPX/Razor, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL,
TypeScript/JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS and AJAX needed
Solid understanding of web standards and accessibility
Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures
Data Modeling, Software Design Patterns and experience working in an Agile Scrum
environment.


 


F# is not required but can be used if you have it.  If you do not have F# but are interested in picking it up, this would be a good opportunity for you to hone your skills with it.
