Job Description :
Ridgefield One is a Technology and General Labor Staffing Agency.  Our client is a Managed Services Provider, supplying on-site and remote tech support to businesses all over Northern New York State.  They have asked us to help find and qualify a Field Tech to join the company as a permanent employee.

 

The new employee will spend each day on-site with a client or remoting in, depending on the day's requirements.  Clients may be located anywhere from Watertown to North Creek and up to The Border.  This is not a work from home job.  You will spend most days working face to face with a client.

 

There are possibly two openings, one more senior than the other.  Salary offers will be based on experience.

 

Issues you may attend to will include:

- Office 365 Support

- Printer & Monitor troubleshooting

- Active Directory account creation and password resets

- Hardware upgrades

- General Break/Fix

- Internet/Networking troubleshooting
- New PC setups and configurations

Required Qualifications :
Minimum qualifications for this new job include:

 

- Experience with Office 365 settings/options

- Knowledge of issues printers and monitors may encounter and a standard routine for troubleshooting them

- Understanding of the basics of Active Directory

- Basic knowledge of Internet access, WiFi, and Networking

 

 

Nice to haves include:

 

- Mac support experience

- TCP/IP & DHCP

- Virus removal experience
