Ridgefield One is a staffing agency serving NY, CT, and VT. Our client is a well-established eCommerce company which provides nutritional supplements in support of a specific healthy lifestyle.



We are currently recruiting for a Programmer / Systems Administrator.  This is a permanent position located in the Company's Norwalk, Connecticut headquarters.



In this role you will be the main "IT Guy" or Gal, in charge of all Technology responsibilities.  We are looking for someone who will be at ease writing scripts with JavaScript, Python, and other languages but who can also administer the server and network and help internal employees at this small company, with any tech support issues.

 

 


A typical day would be providing, support of Windows domain services (Windows Server 2008 R2, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS), networked printers, and networked addressable storage devices, support of all operations web based systems, such as Bigcommerce, Shipstation, Quickbooks Online, Webgility Unify, Zoey (Magento based B2B ecommerce)


 


It is not essential that you have experience with each of these technologies but it is important to have a good foundation in overall Technology Support, Programming, and the aptitude to learn these tools quickly.

Required Qualifications :
·         Technical Skills: Basic PC and Mac Troubleshooting, Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware Tools, Project Management, Apple, Linux, and Windows, DNS, DHCP, Windows NT, FTP, Windows Server, Basic Networking, working with different customer supports to resolve issues. 




 ·         Programming: JavaScript, JQuery, Python, HTML, CSS, JSON, working with API’s
