Required Qualifications :

The development team is passionate about developing and maintaining the core applications as well as producing customizations for customers including the support of integration activities.  The development team consists of architects, software developers, database experts, embedded system designers and developers, quality assurance engineers, and project management.

  • Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business issues

  • Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our IT team

  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform

  • Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions

  • Interpret business requirements to articulate the business needs to be addressed

  • Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of professional experience / skills in JAVA/J2EE, Object Oriented, Design Patterns,  XML, and SQL (recent Oracle experience a plus)

  • Knowledge and experience architecting layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs, high availability and distributed computing

  • Knowledge and experience with the design of big data and noSQL systems (Hadoop is a plus)

  • Must have advanced Design skills essential (APIs, Class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.)

  • Desirable- Knowledge JBOSS/Wildfly, Rule Engines(Drools e.g), scripting languages (Python, Scala), JUnit, MyBatis, Spring, Web Service, Unix Shell Scripting

  • SOAP and REST web services design and development experience

  • Java Certifications (developer, web component) is preferred

  • Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies

  • High-performance/high data throughput application design and troubleshooting

  • Application security and vulnerability design principles and testing experience

  • Knowledge of diverse technologies and new technical architecture principles and concepts

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills and strong work ethic
