Ridgefield One is recruiting for a long-time client in Artificial Intelligence. This innovative company is comprised of some of the best and brightest in the industry in an environment which values people over technology.
We are seeking a Data Scientist for a Director-level role in what will initially be a remote position.
The company helps clients to maximize the value of theirs and third-party data in three main areas of specialty:
- Personalization of email, web content, etc.
- AI / Demand-driven Supply Chain
- Hyper Localization
Services the Data Scientists perform for customers include onboarding clients and configuring what the company does to what the client does, deploying that solution, and validating the output.
This hands-on role may have up to three direct reports on a twelve-person team and possibly oversight of a team in India at some point in the near future.
The opening is an immediate requirement due to recent growth and the right candidate could start work as soon as the qualification process has been completed.
Required Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will live within commuting distance of Ridgefield, Connecticut, however, right now most employees are working remotely and this will likely continue into the fourth quarter of the year. The company may work in a hybrid mode after that so candidates who live within a four hour drive are suitable too, although accommodations may be made for anyone anywhere in the United States as long as they are willing to work East Coast hours.
Experience in Retail or Consumer Packaging (CPG) is desired but not required.
The tech stack currently includes Cloudera, Spark, and Hive. There is an effort underway to migrate to Google. Any experience with Big Query, SQL for Google, or any other related tech would be beneficial.
