Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description :
Ridgefield One and our clients we place employees with are committed to employee safety when it comes to the Coronavirus and all other aspects of the work environment.  One of our clients, a manufacturer in Plattsburgh, NY has asked us to fill an opening for a QA Tech to help maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

 

This position requires accuracy and efficiency to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure that productivity, inventory, quality, customer service, safety, and profitability goals are achieved.

 

General duties include:

 

- Ensure all health & safety and company rules are followed

- Conduct planned and random inspections on sub-assembled products and completed items according to assembly drawings and material specs

- Expedite services for non-conforming materials

- Assist Tech Support with Engineering issues

- Complete daily and monthly reports and submit to supervisors

- Ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping practices

- Manage and control quarantine area

- Coordinate specialized instructions on Quality standards

- Actively assist production whenever and wherever required

 
Required Qualifications :
Requirements include:

 

- Either a college degree or equivalent experience

- Ability to manipulate digital images and email them

- Microsoft Office experience, Word, Excel

- Experience in an ISO 9001 environment

- Current drivers license

- Ability to travel to Canada

- Continuous Improvement experience

- Ability to stand for extended periods
