We have an immediate opening with a regional company for a Senior Systems Administrator role.  Day to day work will include:


  • Perform Office 365 maintenance including migrations/backups

  • Ability to troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, and server issues.

  • Scan network for system and application vulnerabilities, remediate issues

  • Management of Hyperconverged system running virtual servers

  • Manage Citrix environment

  • Windows server support following best practices for AD, DNS, & GPO administration.

  • Implement security best practices for Active Directory and Office 365 using SSO

  • Manage system backups and replication of DR site

  • Management of Mitel VOIP Systems

  • Create and deploy OS images for various devices

  • Monitor network devices and server resources,

  • Provide reports using various tools on application response time and system up time

  • Report on all routine maintenance tasks, including backups, device patching


Required Qualifications :
Basic requirements for this position may include most of the following:

  • 5 plus years of experience as a System Administrator

  • Flexibility to work weekends and participate in on call rotation

  • Solid understanding of network and routing protocols

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting, using Python or PowerShell

  • Experience managing DNS and DHCP

  • 3 years’ experience with cloud technologies Azure or AWS

  • Experience with patch management technology

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of VMware and Citrix

  • Experience with IBM AS400 a plus

  • Experience with switches, routers, wireless,and firewalls

  • College degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills, Customer service focused.

  • Familiar with security frameworks and best practices
